There are children in Tampa Bay who need love & attention, or just someone with whom to share a smile! GET REAL Involved! will be working to provide that support by spending time with an area Children's Services Organization.
Our tasks may include sorting merchandise for a thrift store, or more direct hands on attention to children in need via a daycare/recreation type activity.

GET REAL Involved!
GET REAL Involved! engages youth in community service within Tampa Bay.
This group was formed based on the idea that getting students involved in community service early and often will change the world.
We know students want to make a difference, and that they prefer to spend time with their peers & friends. GET REAL Involved! service projects allow them to do just that. We organize turnkey service projects within the Tampa Bay community that are screened to conform to Hillsborough County School requirements for service hours.
All trips are fully chaperoned with background checked adults. All service sites have been screened. We've done all the work, all you have to do is fill out some forms (click here) and show up!This group is sponsored by the Youth Ministry of Hyde Park United Methodistwhich has been organizing monthly youth service projects under the GET REAL banner since 2006. All are welcome!
